Paul Gallen began his plastering career in County Donegal, Ireland with AnCO, the Irish Industrial Training Authority. He then received his City Guild Certificate in Plastering from London, England. During the 1980s, Paul had the opportunity to permanently relocate to the United States. Within months, he began working for Hettler and Kirk, Inc, a plastering company in Ambler, Pennsylvania that had been in business for approximately eighty years. Hettler & Kirk, Inc was responsible for interior and exterior plastering projects ranging from plaster restoration of historical structures throughout the city of Philadelphia and Montgomery and Bucks county areas, to application of exterior stucco to newly built and restored residential and commercial properties.
Paul worked for Hettler and Kirk, Inc for thirteen years until the owner's retirement and company's closure in 2003 and subsequently started his own plastering business. He has since been successfully solving interior plastering and exterior stucco problems for homeowners, contractors and businesses alike. After more than twenty-five years in the plastering business, Paul has encountered and completed any type of plastering project, from interior walls and ceilings needing repair from water damage, new plumbing, air conditioning or electrical work, to custom color-matching of weathered stucco on existing properties to new stucco application onto attached additions. Paul has also done work with chimney restorations and application of new stucco to residential and commercial properties. He is licensed and insured in Pennsylvania, as well as an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.
